You've heard of the 12 Days of Christmas, so we wanted to put our own marketing spin on the concept and offer the 12 Days of Holiday Promos.
For over 10 years now our staff has worked with rural communities, non-profits and small businesses on several levels to help them improve their marketing strategy and online presence. Every holiday season we receive numerous requests for assistance on developing a holiday marketing strategy. This year was no different. We decided to put together some quick reference ideas to help you make this holiday shopping season the best yet.
Included in our presentation are a number of ideas we have implemented in communities throughout the country, with some recent adjustments to accommodate for the current pandemic environment we are all working in. Read through the presentation and think of ways you can adapt these ideas to work in your own business or community. Download the 12 Days of Holiday Promos below.

Before Getting Started: Identify Key Partners
Having the right people involved in the beginning is the key to any campaigns success. For community promotions this include the town/city directors/managers, the business owners themselves and of course, the locals/consumers. Connect and collaborate early on a strategy that will benefit the entire area.
As an example of community collaboration, below is a holiday guide we helped put together for Rutherford County Tourism back in 2018. This Holiday Guide was a collaborative effort by 5 towns and numerous businesses to provide an online digital tour of things to do in Rutherford County over the holidays. This made it easy for both visitors and residents to make plans to spend time and shop the stores. The easier you make it for people to find out about your offerings, the more likely they are to pay you a visit.
We hope these are helpful and lead to great success this holiday season.
